How Michelangelo Saved My Life

A solo show, written and performed by Stephanie storey, about how a 500-year-old Dead artist inspired her to rebuild her “Botched Block of a life” after a trauma almost destroyed her.

I was 21 years old when I took a train to Florence and met the man who would change my life forever...
— Stephanie Storey, How Michelangelo Saved My Life

This solo show has been in the works for several years, but on January 16th, 2024, Stephanie will finally debut a short part of the show at FronteraFest 2024 in Austin, Texas. We are now developing a full-length version — filled with heartbreaking yet sometimes funny personal revelations mixed with a unique journey through art history — and hope to be touring it later this year.
