Break up your Memorial Day weekend this year by treating yourself to conquering YOUR novel.

Many writers want to write a novel, but are daunted by how to conquer something so long and unwieldy. This workshop helps writers develop a plan for writing and finishing their novel.

350 pages. 100,000 words. Sections, chapters, plots, subplots, protagonists, antagonists, supporting characters, research… However you want to think of it, novels are long. If it wasn’t difficult to weave all of those pages and plots into one coherent story then everyone would have a successful novel. It’s not easy, but if you’re passionate and persevering, then it IS possible.

Taught by a successful, bestselling historical novelist, this class can help any writer develop the tools and overcome obstacles to writing and finishing their novel.

You Will Learn How To

·      Identify and hone the idea that will carry your novel

·      Capture your initial excitement so, when things get tough, you can get back on track

·      Properly do and organize your research

·      Set goals and lay out a plan

·      Outline your story

·      Overcome obstacles of writing your first draft

·      Revise your story so that it reaches publishable quality

·      Navigate the world of publishing

This class is designed for any level of writer, at any stage of the novel-writing process.
